The Good Morning America star shared a preview of the book on the eve of its release day, in a sweet picture with the family's pet dog. The book even has a sweet picture of the couple and their kids on the back page. Between them they have five children — Amy has two daughters and Andrew has three sons — who are all incredibly close.
The family's tight bond is down to how Amy and Andrew introduced their kids, which is where the idea of Better Together came from. They found a way to help their kids bond through making up stories about animals in their garden. Amy Robach shared the countdown ahead of her children's book Better Together. Chatting to Publisher's Weekly ahead of their book's release, the couple explained how they went about helping their then-young children feel better about the big change in their lives.
They helped our little ones feel connected to each other and our new lives together. And while Amy and Andrew's children are more than happy to see their childhood tale come to life, the TV star's daughters Ava and Annie were not as impressed as their mom would have hoped!
The longtime couple took to Instagram with the most adorable photo of them reading, Better Together , to a child sitting on their lap. In the snapshot, Amy was beaming as Andrew looked adoringly at her. Amy revealed the book finally has a release date and explained all in the caption. Her fans wrote: "Love this Amy," and, "Magnificent pic of Andrew lovingly looking at his beautiful wife," while many more vowed to pick up a copy.
The couple previously opened up about their new venture in a joint interview on Ashley Bellman's The Middle , and revealed what inspired them to write it. Amy and Andrew have revealed the release date for their first children's book. When Amy and Andrew first got together, their children were between the ages of three and 13, and they wanted to ensure that the change in their lives was positive.
They found a way to help their kids bond through making up stories about animals in their garden — which is where the idea of their book came from. With five kids in your own blended family, you surely have developed strategies for helping everyone to get along.

Were there any specific challenges that arose in your household during the pandemic? The number one key is to choose love over fear. Personal space! We overcame it in tough moments by going outside and playing a friendly but competitive volleyball game.
